Based just north of Horsham we have been working with residents and businesses in the local area since 2010, providing them with information about the building of the MBT facility, operational and transportation timetables, and the environment.
Ongoing Community Involvement
We welcome feedback and will listen and respond to your comments. Please use our online comment/feedback form.
We have a dedicated Community Liaison Officer who is based at the site, providing a link between the facility and the community. We have held meetings, attended community events, presented at community groups and written newsletters. Going forward, residents and businesses can contact us at any time, and group visits can be arranged using our Book A Visit online form.
Local Liaison Group
We have a Local Liaison Group to provide an open forum through which the community can ask questions and raise issues about the operation of the Mechanical Biological Treatment facility at Brookhurst Wood. This group meets quarterly and will continue to do so throughout the 25 year contract.
Eight local residents sit on the group. Places are currently filled but if you are interested in getting involved, please email email@example.com to add your name to our waiting list. Or you can call 01403 339169.
